The Board of County Commissioners

Also referred to as the BOCC or Board, is the governing body of Jefferson County. Consisting of three elected officials, the Board serves as the taxing authority, the contracting body and the chief administrators of public funds. Among other duties, the Board enacts laws, ensures compliance of laws, and secures professional services for the county 

County Commissioner Meetings

  • Business meetings are held every Monday at 9:00 am.  
  • All meetings are held in Commissioners Meeting Room (Annex building - Suite 240)

Meetings are open to the public except for executive sessions. Any person needing special accommodations to participate in the meetings, please contact the Commissioner's Office prior to the meeting at 208-745-9222.
